NJCU offers a number of auxiliary services and amenities to support students throughout their academic career. These include:
The John J. Moore Athletic Fitness Center
- This state-of-the-art multi-purpose athletic and fitness center features a 2,000-seat basketball and volleyball arena, a fully equipped fitness center, and a 25-yard swimming pool.
The NJCU Bookstore
- The NJCU Bookstore supplies every student need from textbooks and eTexts to supplies, apparel and gifts.
Campus Food Services
- Gourmet Dining - NJCU’s food service provider, keeps the campus population satisfied with delicious, varied cuisine at three (3) dining locations; the Student Union Café, Vodra Cafe and the Starbucks® Coffee Bar. Daily choices include signature hot breakfasts, soups, salads, pizza, grilled-to-order menu options, hot comfort foods, contemporary fare, and regional specialties. The GothicCard
- In addition to serving as students’ official University identification and facilities access card, GothicCard allows for “cash-free” purchasing at the NJCU Bookstore, dining facilities and vending machines, as well as library book borrowing.
Parking and Transportation
- NJCU offers a 392-space garage and a 520-space lot to accommodate student parking. Each is equipped with handicap spaces. Shuttle Buses connect the parking lot to the main campus. A special Loop Shuttle makes stops at A. Harry Moore School and Shuttle access to the John J. Moore Athletic Fitness Center and Visual Arts Building is available by request.
