The Biology Department offers several different options for students interested in obtaining a B.S. in Clinical Laboratory Sciences:
New Jersey City University has established formal affiliation agreements with the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Health-Related-Professions (UMDNJ-SHRP) and with Jersey Shore Medical Center (JSMC). Students will complete the equivalent of three years of study at NJCU before entering a clinical or preclinical phase at the affiliated institution.

B.S. in Clinical Laboratory Sciences – Cytotechnology (USMDNJ-SHRP)
Students will complete the equivalent of three years of study at NJCU before entering a preclinical phase at USMDNJ-SHRP. Students must apply for acceptance to UMDNJ by October 15th of the year prior to which they begin the clinical program (in the following summer).

Students must apply for acceptance to JSMC by October 15th of the year prior to which they begin the clinical program (in the following summer).
