    Location:STUDENT UNION, ROOM 129

David Ezra Stein’s children’s books celebrate joy and simplicity, eschewing flash in favor of genuine introspection. His subtle interweaving of lessons in self-sufficiency and acceptance of change is neither intimidating nor heavy-handed. David Ezra Stein was born in Brooklyn, New York. He currently lives in Queens County, where he works as a set illustrator. On the side he is a daydreamer, a doodler, and a noodler in all kinds of media. His artwork has appeared in American Illustration, the New Yorker, and the New York Times. Refreshments to follow. Free Professional Development credits available. Sponsored by the M. Jerry Weiss Center for Children’s and Young Adult Literature through the NJCU Foundation, Inc. All programs are free and open to the community. For further information or directions contact the M.
