  • Parking & Transportation Service Announcement

    Continuing with the completion of the West Campus Project, there will be changes to the Parking and Transportation services effective Monday, November 17, 2014. The access road from Lot 3 to Lot 6 & Lot 7 will be closed for construction. Please review this information carefully and check your NJCU email regularly for any additional updates.

    Student Parking
    Students who elect to park at the West Campus Parking Facilities will enter and exit Lot 3 via Westside Avenue or Lot 6 from Carbon Place. Students entering Lots 3 & 6 must have a pre-paid parking plan for entry or pay daily parking fee. (Please note that Lot 3 will be the only lot at the West Campus Parking Facility where cash payment will be accepted).
    Lot 6 will serve as a self-service parking. Students without a pre-paid parking plan will be required to validate their parking ticket at the designated Pay-On-Foot Station in Lot 6. Students without a pre-paid plan are encouraged to add funds on their Gothic card or purchase a Commuter Flat Rate Parking Plan.

    Faculty/Staff Parking
    Faculty and staff will enter and exit Lot 7 via Route 440 North or South Road from Westside Ave. The South Road gate will serve as a secondary option to exit and enter the Lot 7 parking facility. Access to the South Road gate will only be provided for faculty / staff utilizing an authorized Gothic Card. Student access will not be accepted at this location. Faculty and staff exiting from the South Road onto Westside Avenue should note that this is a Right Turn Only Exit.

    Shuttle Services
    Direct shuttle service to the West Campus Parking Facilities will remain the same, as pick-ups and drop-offs will be made in lots 7, 6, and 3; and continue to provide the Loop Shuttle Service to Visual Arts Building, John J. Moore Athletic Center, and the NJ Transit Westside Light Rail Station. In anticipation of the increased parking demand, please allow additional time for parking.
