Accreditations
New Jersey City University is accredited by the Middle
States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools, the National
Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education, and the National
Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools.
New Jersey City University is also an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Art and Design and the National Association of Schools of Music.
The BSN program is accredited by the National League for Nursing.
The Business Administration Program is accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs.
Education programs are approved by the New Jersey State Department of Education. It is also approved by the American Association of University Women.
The University is a member of the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education, the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, the American Council of Education, the National Association of Schools of Art and Design, the National Association of Schools of Music, The New Jersey Association of Colleges and Universities, and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.
