President's Message

I'm pleased to welcome you to New Jersey City University.

For over 75 years, we have provided quality and accessible education. We pledge to continue that fine tradition while expanding our scope as a leading public university in the nation's largest metropolitan area.

You'll also see that we offer numerous complementary programs and services, including New Jersey's most extensive cooperative education program. This program enables you to work in a business environment where you'll earn a salary, as well as academic credit.

I also want to describe for you two important characteristics of NJCU that our web site just can't impart: the broad diversity and sense of community you'll find here. Our campus is a microcosm of the world. People of different cultures are learning together, working together, enjoying together on our attractive 46-acre campus.
