Eisenhower Professional Development Program Workshops
The final Summer Institute of the Eisenhower Professional Development
Grant took place at NJCU from August 18 to August 21, 2003. The grant
focused on improving teacher mathematics competency, with science,
technology, and literacy as integral parts of that improvement process.
40 Preschool through 3rd Grade teachers participated in the Institute,
which was the final activity of the two-year grant awarded to New
Jersey City University and the Jersey City, Newark, and Perth Amboy
school districts.
