College of Arts and Sciences
Many students who attend the University are immediately interested in pursuing a course of study that will lead to a professional career. The liberal arts are vitally important in all careers. The liberal arts experience not only readies the student for business and other professions with sharpened thinking skills and common cultural references, but also enhances each student's life by making it rich with meaning.
The faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences offers students a broad foundation in the liberal arts through the general studies requirements, traditional majors, various minors and Honors Program.
