History George Karnoutsos Arts & Sciences Hall, Room 505 201-200-3251 Dr. Rosemary Thurston, Chairperson The History Department faculty is involved in research in New Jersey and on subjects such as United States defense and security matters and women in history. The Department also has an active History Club and Honors Society, the Rho Rho Chapter of Phi Alpha Theta. Each year the Department sponsors the Honor Society Induction Program.
