Riggs, Chairperson The Mathematics Department is a member of the Mathematical Association of America and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. Faculty scholarship includes research ranging from methods for teaching mathematics to historical and analytical studies of mathematics. The Department hosts an annual mathematics conference and a lecture series. The Mathematics Department also sponsors a club for mathematics majors.
