The music unit of the Music, Dance and Theatre Department is a full member of, and accredited by, the National Association of Schools of Music. The Department hosts chapters of the Phi Mu Alpha and Sigma Alpha Iota honor societies and an International Association for Jazz Education student chapter. The Music, Dance and Theatre Department presents a series of concerts by students, faculty and guest artists each year. Many members of the music faculty perform with both orchestral, chamber music, musical theater, and jazz ensembles and as soloists throughout the world.

The Music, Dance and Theatre Department offers a variety of degree tracks.

Note: The Department offers courses in dance and theater; students are advised to consult the schedule of classes each semester to determine the courses being offered.

Bachelor of Arts in Music-No Specialization
Bachelor of Arts in Music-Music Business
Bachelor of Arts in Music-Music Education (Teacher Certification P-12)
Bachelor of Arts in Music-Music Theater
