About the International Studies Department
The Political Science Department hosts the International Studies Minor program. The program prepares students to explore and understand the interconnections among people and societies, the environment, governments, and businesses. NJCU's International Studies Minor is available to all NJCU students. Seeing interdependence and making connections across boundaries are necessary skills for the 21st century workplace. Courses in the Minor are offered through several NJCU departments. Courses span art, political science, sociology, business, geography, and others.
Students are encouraged to pursue a second or third language and are encouraged to participate in a Study Abroad trip or a semester abroad.
