NPTNJ Masters Program

New Jersey City University offers unique opportunities for students who have completed the NPTNJ program. Please select the appropriate master's program from the list below.

You need to apply to NJCU by submitting the following materials to the University Admissions Office in order to start enrollment in non-NPTNJ classes.

  • Application form
  • Official Transcripts
  • Request for matriculation form
  • 2 letters of recommendation (recommendations need to be from your supervisors and/or professors, not your friends or colleagues)
  • GRE scores or GRE test waiver (if your undergraduate GPA is lower than 2.75, also provide appeal letter along with GRE test waiver)
  • Copy of your provisional or standard certificates

Deadline for filing
Fall: July 1st
Spring: November 1st
Summer: May 1st

Students interested in obtaining a MA degree in Educational Technology will have 15 graduate credits transfer into our 36 credit program.

Students interested Students interested in obtaining a MA degree in Educational Technology with School Library certification will have 12 graduate credits transfer into our 36 credit program.

Students interested in obtaining a ASLMS certification only will have 9 graduate credits transfer into our 24 credit program.
