A Bachelor of Science degree in marketing prepares students with multiple business skills essential to the management of products and services. Marketing is an essential aspect of every business; a graduate finds careers in marketing research, brand management, retailing, and sales promotion, and in the growing world of e-marketing. Employment in profit and non-profit companies abound from volunteer associations, hospitals, chambers of commerce, universities, and government entities.
Transfer students must complete at least 12 credits at NJCU, in addition to above requirements prior to declaring a major. Courses taken at NJCU to satisfy Marketing major requirements require a minimum grade C (2.0). Major classes in which a grade below a C is earned do not meet degree requirements. Students who are unable to meet these standards are advised to withdraw from the major.
