WE'RE SUPPORTIVE

A broad range of support services is available to help students succeed in their coursework. There are three types of services:

Computer Language Learning Center;
Tutoring Program;
Resource Center.

Computer Language Learning Center

The Computer Language Learning Center is a computer lab consisting of 22 student Macintoshes, CD-ROM software, laser printers, and Internet access. With such technology, students will be able to receive intensive practice in all skill areas in addition to refining research skills.

The Tutoring Program

The ESL Tutoring Program is available free of charge to all ESL students who need individualized assistance in their ESL courses. All tutors are specially trained to work with ESL learners. Sessions are offered days, evenings, and Saturdays for 45 minutes/week.

The Resource Center

The Resource Center is a small lending library designed to help students with their individual language learning needs. Students are encouraged to come and browse through the large collection of books, audiotapes, and videotapes. Most material is checked out for three weeks, and is available free of charge.
