    • Prior to the practicum, students must pass the writing assessment however; candidates beginning their teacher preparation program coursework for the College of Education on or after September 1, 2015 will need to take the CASE/CORE test.  (Please contact the CTPP department regarding this policy change).

    • Prior to the internship, elementary, secondary including art and music education as well as early childhood students must pass the appropriate Praxis II test. The passing score including sub-scores must be submitted to the CTPP.

    • Practicum and internship students must have a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 prior to taking the first course in the College of Education starting fall 2015.
