Center for Teacher Preparation and Partnerships : Deadlines

    Spring Semester 2013
    Students who plan to complete the Practicum or Internship in the Spring 2013 must submit their application, candidate statement and resume to the Center for Teacher Preparation and Partnerships by September 14, 2012. Late applications will be accepted. Placement requests are made the first week of October.

    Students who are eligible to complete the Practicum or the Internship in the Spring 2013 semester must submit their Mantoux test results no later than January 12, 2013. Students WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO BEGIN either the Practicum or Internship if the Mantoux results are not on file at the CTPP. Results should be delivered to The Center for Teacher Preparation and Partnerships. Please note that all Mantoux results expire after 6 months and all chest x-rays expire after 5 years.
    Fall Semester 2013
    January 24, 2013
    Students who plan to complete the Practicum or Internship in the Fall 2013 must submit their application, candidate statement and resume to the Center for Teacher Preparation and Partnerships no later than January 24, 2013. Applications are available in each department of the College of Education. Students must schedule an appointment with their advisor during the department’s advisement period. Applications without an advisor’s signature will not be accepted. Placement requests are made the first week of March. All Internship students must have a current N.J. Substitute License. It is strongly urged that all students preparing for their Practicum also have a substitute license as some districts are now requiring it.

    August 1, 2013
    Students who are eligible to complete the Practicum or the Internship in the Fall 2013 semester must submit their Mantoux test results no later than August 1, 2013 . Students WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO BEGIN either the Practicum or Internship if the Mantoux results are not on file at the CTPP. Results should be delivered to The Center for Teacher Preparation and Partnerships. Please note that all Mantoux results expire after 6 months and all chest x-rays expire after 5 years.
