Center for Teacher Preparation and Partnerships : Internship Flowchart

    • Student obtains signed application form at the time of advisement.
    • Student submits completed application form, resume and candidate agreement form to the CTPP, in P203A.
    • All paperwork must be submitted together at one time, including test scores where applicable.
    • The CTPP will register the student for only the field experience II or senior internship if all requirements and pre-requisites have been met.
    • The Center processes placement applications primarily in partnership school districts: Bayonne, Jersey City, Newark, North Arlington, Secaucus, Union City, West New York, Harrison and Kearney.
    • The Center notifies student of internship location upon placement acceptance and if the school requests an interview. The student must set up the interview.
    • The CTPP will provide two opportunities for field experience II and senior internship. Following two placement attempts, the Field Experience Committee will review on a case by case basis and may recommend transfer out of the College of Education.
