OSHA with Covid-19 & Financial Fitness for Work Training

In collaboration with the New Jersey Center for Economic EducationNJCU’s Center for Workforce and Community Development launches the OSHA with COVID-19 Addendum and Financial Literacy for Work Training.

The COVID-19 Pandemic has dramatically shifted the landscape of employment opportunity and small business development in the United States. This effect has disproportionately impacted entry-level and service related positions traditionally held by our youth, 18-23 years of age with only a high school diploma or GED. NJCU has therefore developed a three-part, ONLINE, 25-hour vocational training program to include OSHA 10 General Industry with the COVID-19 Addendum & Financial Literacy for Work.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
Applicants are to be between the ages of 18 and 23 and have a high school diploma or its equivalent by July 1, 2021. Candidates must also satisfy the technology requirements (see below) and commit to the training schedule. Each candidate must demonstrate work readiness and their ability to enter the workforce in the current COVID-19 setting.
