Requirements of the Minor Program

Students minoring in the program will take 18 (eighteen) credit hours or 6 (six) courses as outlined below.

Each course is 3 (three) credit hours.

Afro 101 The African Diaspora
Afro 108 African American History
Afro 118 Black Experience
Afro 164 Introduction to African Civilization
Afro 285 Modern Africa

Choose one or more courses from the following:
· Afro 106 Black Identity and Culture
· Afro 283 Organization of African Unity Model Assembly
