Undergraduate programs at New Jersey City University lead to
the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Bachelor of Fine
Arts (B.F.A.), Bachelor of Music in Performance (B.M.), or Bachelor of Science
in Nursing (B.S.N.) degrees.
NJCUs College of Arts and Sciences offers major programs leading to
the bachelors degree in art (B.A. or B.F.A.); biology (B.A. or B.S.),
geoscience/geography (B.A. or B.S.); and economics, English, history, mathematics,
media arts, music (B.A. or B.M.), philosophy, political science, psychology,
sociology, and Spanish (B.A.). A B.S. in clinical laboratory sciences and
a B.S. in allied health technologies are offered jointly with the University
of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ).
The College of Education offers major programs leading to a Bachelor of Arts
degree in early childhood education, elementary education, and special education.
Also offered are undergraduate programs that lead to certification, such as
secondary education.
The College of Professional Studies offers major programs leading to a Bachelor
of Science degree in business administration, criminal justice/fire safety/security
administration, and health sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.).
