DEPARTMENTAL AND ORGANIZATIONAL MATTERS
As a matter of regular procedures, time is set aside at regularly scheduled department meetings for an agenda item called "University Senate Business." The purpose of this time is to provide opportunity for the department senator to inform and/or consult with all department members about on going work of the University Senate, thereby improving communications between the University Senate and the faculty as a whole.
