Therapy Programs

  • Counseling: Psychologist and Social Worker

  • Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy is concerned with function, and with the strengths and abilities of the individual. Assisting persons to experience a normal developmental process or to master developmental tasks (gross and fine motor, visual, oral-motor, adaptive skills) satisfactorily is a major concern of the therapists at the A. Harry Moore School.

  • Speech and Language Department
The A. Harry Moore School offers speech and language therapy for children referred by their child study team. Our speech pathologists diagnose, evaluate, plan, and carry out corrective techniques on an individual and small group basis. Areas of concern include increasing expressive and receptive communication skills, stimulating language development, and correcting defective articulation and voice disorders. Speech and language pathologists are certified by the New Jersey Department of Education.
