Computer
Science Lab
The Computer Science curriculum is supported by three computer labs
equipped with state-of-the-art Pentium based Dell computers running the
latest versions of Linux, Solaris, and Windows operating systems. These
facilities are dedicated for use by Computer Science majors, Computer
Science minors, and students enrolled in Computer Science courses. The
labs provide an environment where faculty can support instructional activities
and students can implement projects required in course work. Lab activities
include hands-on implementation of special projects and assignments that
provide real-world experience facilitating a student's transition to the
professional environment or to advanced study.
The lab is open approximately 35 hours a week,
Monday through Friday. These include some evening hours. Lab assistants
are available, during most of the lab's operating hours.
