"General" Minor in Computer Science
The Computer Science Minor provides an excellent complement of courses for students majoring in other disciplines. Computers have become an integral part of most professional, industrial, scientific, and educational environments, thus students will be able to study concepts that will enhance the application of knowledge gained in a wide variety of disciplines. Required courses cover programming, operating systems, data structures, and discrete structures. Two additional courses can be selected from courses including Telecommunica-tions Networks, Database Design and Distributed Searching, Computational Methods, Linear Algebra, Calculus II, and Computer Tools for Science and Mathematics.

A minor in computer science may focus upon "general" computer science and may be attained by completing the following requirements:

Information Systems Minor in Computer Science
A minor in computer science may focus upon computer and information systems and may be attained by completing the following requirements:
