II. MINORS

A. Minor in Geoscience

Students select a minimum of 18 s.h. of work in Geoscience in addition to any credits in Geoscience that are applied to the completion of General Studies Requirements. At least 10 s.h. of course work must be taken at the 200-level and above.

For the Geoscience Minor, it is highly desirable that students complete requirements 1 and 2 listed below prior to their Junior year. However, it is possible with careful planning for a student to complete a Geoscience Minor beginning in the Junior year.

Required Courses: (18 s.h.)

1. Two of Four (6 s.h.):

GEOS 112 Introduction to Geology (3 s.h.)

GEOS 113 Introduction to Astronomy (3 s.h.)

GEOS 114 Introduction to Meteorology (3 s.h.)

GEOS 115 Introduction to Oceanography (3 s.h.)
