  • Hardware & Software Standards

The following documents were developed by the Technology Standards and Services Task Force. Task force members include representation from all divisions of the University. Updated March 2003, these documents provide Task Force recommendations approved by the University Technology Steering Committee. The University recognizes that hardware and software is in constant flux and, consequently, is committed to revising these standards as necessary to meet the needs of its members. Although there have been significant hardware changes since these documents were issued, the new systems don't affect NJCU's current set of software standards designed to run on the Windows 2000/XP platform.

    Information Technology Inventory Project

As of May 2001, the Department of Information Technology has been charged to inventory technology hardware and software on a regular, ongoing schedule by the Technology Standards and Services Task Force through a mandate by the University Technology Steering Committee. Please read through the FAQ document for more information regarding what to expect when an IT technician visits your location.
