Constitution Day
2007 Constitution Day was introduced by
Sen. Robert Byrd (D-WV) and created by Congress in 2004. It
is a federal holiday that requires all educational
institutions receiving federal money to provide educational
programs on the history of the Constitution. This year's program
featured presentations by
Prof. Joseph
Moskowitz and
Prof.
Donna Axel, and
several Constitution theme games created by Prof.
Fran Moran (Millionaire1,
Millionaire2,
Millionaire3,
Millionare4,
Jeopardy!).
Note: The Moskowitz file includes some video, so be
patient on the download, but you'll be rewarded for
your patience. The Political Science
Alliance was also on hand for a voter registration
drive, and Student Government Organization
president Maurice Washington spoke to the crowd
about getting involved in campus political
life. Students
in the crowd Esther Gibson, Political
