Directions: All majors must take the following required courses, comprising 12 semester hours' credit:

(1) POLI102 U.S. Politics, POLI109 Comparative Politics, POLI110 Introduction to World Politics, POLI205 History of Political Thought, and. (2) In addition, majors must take one 200-level course in each of these general areas: (1) American Government and (b) Comparative Government and International Studies (6 semester hours' credit). (3) Once a major has chosen to specialize in either area (a) or (b), s/he must take at least one 300-or-higher-level course and one seminar in that area (6 semester hours' credit). (4) The remaining 12 semester hours' credit may be in any Political Science courses, of which we strongly recommend a co-op experience of 3 semester credit hours.
