    Biography

    Dr. Jane Webber is Associate Professor and Coordinator of the M.A. in Counseling Program. She is a New Jersey Licensed Professional Counselor and Disaster Response Crisis Counselor and has extensive experience as a school and college counselor and counseling supervisor. Dr. Webber has served as a University Senator, Chair of the Academic Standards Committee, Chair of the Ad Hoc Curriculum Handbook Committee, and faculty co-advisor to the Nu Eta Sigma chapter of Chi Sigma Iota.

    As Chair of the American Counseling Association Foundation during September 11, 2001, she created the foundation’s first book Terrorism, Trauma, and Tragedies: A Counselor’s Guide to Preparing and Responding, now in its third edition. She is a member the ACA Presidential Task Force for Crisis Management and served on the CACREP Advisory Committee for Emergency Preparedness. Dr. Webber served as ACA Governing Council Representative, North Atlantic Region Chair, and Chair of the Public Awareness and Support, Human Rights, and International Committees.

    Dr. Webber presents frequently at the national and state level on social media, counseling licensure, disaster response, sand tray therapy, and school counseling.
