To comply with minimum time requirements according to CACREP standards, beginning Summer 2014, Internships I and II will no longer be offered during the summer sessions. Internship I and II will only be offered during the Fall and Spring semesters. Please click here for more details.
Reminder: Educational Leadership Program Completion Requirements
For Master’s Degree Candidates
As per the policy, degree candidates must take School Leadership Licensing Assessment (SLLA) prior to completion of Internship II and/or graduation. Proof of either registration receipt or SLLA test scores must be submitted to the department before graduate clearance will be approved. Please provide documentation of SLLA with your graduation clearance application and/or send to department chair. See advisor for more details and www.ets.org/sls for testing dates.
For Principal Certification Only (LEAD) Candidates.
As per the policy, principal certification only candidates (LEAD Candidates) must take School Leadership Licensing Assessment (SLLA) prior to completion of Internship II. Proof of either registration receipt or SLLA test scores must be submitted to the department before program completion will be approved. Applying for Certification
Candidates may apply for certification ( both supervisor and/or principal) through the NJCU Certification Office (Center for Teaching Preparation and Partnerships) . Please be reminded that this center will process your supervisor and/or principal certification applications for one year after program completion. After one year, candidates will need to apply directly through the New Jersey Department of Education, Licensing and Credential Office.

Registration for Summer and Fall 2013 courses
Graduate registration begins Tuesday, March 26 at 10:00 am for students matriculated in a degree program. Registration begins Tuesday, April 9 at 10:00 am for all other graduate students.

NJCU Places Third in Ethics Contest
Congratulations to the NJCU Ethics Team, Shalin Bhatt, Erika Calvi, Liz Hickey, and Camille Parker for being awarded third place in the 2012-2013 Annual ACA National Graduate Student Ethics Competition! This is the third year that a team from NJCU has won the third-place honor.
