sabrinaSabrina Marotta, assistant director of campus information systems, is the recipient of the Employee Recognition Award for January 2007.

Ms. Marotta began her career at New Jersey City University in July 2002 as program coordinator in the Office of Academic Services for Evening Students (OASES).  In July 2003, she became an assistant director in the office of campus information systems. 

As the functional analyst for Academic Advisement some of her accomplishments include the implementation of the Campus Solutions Academic Advisement module and the Degree Progress Report for undergraduate students. 

Ms. Marotta also helps faculty, staff, and students use the GothicNet.  She handles these projects in addition to ongoing assignments related to user support, development projects, and the administration of GothicNet training sessions.  Ms. Marotta also played an integral part in the PeopleSoft upgrade.

Born and raised in Carlstadt, Ms. Marotta attended Washington School, Becton Regional High School, and New Jersey City University from which she earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management.  Ms. Marotta is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Educational Psychology, which she plans to complete in May 2007.

Her leisure interests include travel, shopping, and attending Broadway theatre.
