Shereen Rahaman, a senior building maintenance worker in the Housekeeping Department of New Jersey City University, is the recipient of the Employee of the Month Award for June 2007.

Now in her eleventh year as a member of the Housekeeping staff, Mrs. Rahaman had been employed in the cafeteria on campus for more than five years prior to her appointment in Housekeeping in 1996.

Mrs. Rahaman and her husband Nyran have resided in Jersey City for the past 25 years.  In her leisure time Mrs. Rahaman gardens.  She and her husband enjoy taking short drives and visiting towns along the Jersey shore.
