Marilyn Consulmagno, principal clerk typist in the Media Arts Department, is the recipient of the Employee of the Month Award for November 2007.

Ms. Consulmagno became an employee of New Jersey City University in 1999 when she joined the clerical staff of the Facilities Department. She was promoted in 2002 and transferred to the Educational Leadership Program. In 2004, Ms. Consulmagno assumed her present position in the Media Arts Department.

Her duties include: assisting the chair of the Media Arts Department, scheduling students, and preparing assignment sheets for adjunct faculty members. She works closely with the Department’s eight faculty members and four adjunct faculty members, and especially enjoys interacting with students.

Ms. Consulmagno and her husband Francis reside in Jersey City. She thoroughly enjoys reading and considers it her favorite leisure activity.
