jenellJenell Santiago, e-procurement program administrator, is the recipient of the Employee of the Month Award for December, 2007.

Her career at New Jersey City University began in 2003 when she worked as a student intern in the Human Resources Office. Ms. Santiago was instrumental in developing an adjunct orientation package as her internship project.  She was hired in the Procurement Services Department in 2004 as a Professional Services Specialist 4.

Ms. Santiago is responsible for administering the e-procurement system in the University’s PeopleSoft environment.  She has been involved in the implementation of the module and has trained all employees so that they are knowledgeable in using the system.  She also provides quality customer service to the University community.

A 2004 graduate of New Jersey City University, Ms. Santiago holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration. 

Ms. Santiago resides in Bayonne with her daughter Jalyssa.  She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
