Enrollment Process

  • Once students are admitted to the university, they will contact the University Advisement Center to schedule Writing and Math placement tests. Based on placement scores, and in consultation with an academic advisor, each interested student will be enrolled the appropriate option (A, B, or C).

    • Option A Students will take a six-credit intensive developmental reading and writing course, "Reading and Writing Across the Disciplines," which will meet three days a week, five hours a day. The discounted price for this six-credit course is $529.05 for New Jersey residents; $949.05 for out-of-state students.
       
    • Option B Students will take a three or four-credit developmental mathematics course. They will enroll in either "Basic College Math," a three-credit course that meets three days a week for 2 1/2 hours a day, or "Algebra for College," a four-credit course that meets three days a week for 3 1/2 hours a day.  The discounted price for the three-credit course is $264.53 for New Jersey residents; $474.53 for out-of-state residents. The discounted price for the four-credit course is $352.70 for New Jersey residents; $633.16 for out-of-state residents.
