Giving Opportunities

New Jersey City University has gone from being a wholly-funded state school to a state-supported institution to a state-assisted university. And that's not just semantics! State funding has dropped from a high of 70 percent to our current level of 34 percent this year.

That is why we turn to you, our alumni, to support your University. Your tax-deductible gift to the annual fund helps to:
  • provide students with financial aid packages and scholarships;
  • support innovative academic programs and research projects;
  • enhance our magnificent library and technological services;
  • Fund faculty development and recruitment.

You can make your donation to NJCU right now, right here.

Giving levels include:
President's Council           $10,000 and more
Dean's Council                 $5,000 to $9,999
Patron's Council               $2,500 to $4,999

Knight Club                      Under $100

In addition to an annual gift, we will be happy to discuss a planned gift with you. Planned gifts include a bequest in your will, charitable trusts and gifts of life insurance. Such gifts can generate substantial financial and tax benefits to you and your loved ones, while being of enormous value to NJCU.

For more information about planned giving, please call Khatmeh Osseiran-Hanna, Vice President of University Advancement at 201-200-3344.
