With a single application you can gain admittance to HCCC and NJCU and complete your Associate’s and Bachelor’s Degrees.It may be possible for you to earn an Associate’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in four years. By dual enrolling in HCCC and NJCU, you have the advantage of planning your courses to allow for the maximum transfer credits possible and to accelerate the completion of your undergraduate education. With the right planning you can complete NJCU General Education credits and several required courses for an NJCU major while earning your Associate’s degree at HCCC.Transfer Counselors at HCCC and NJCU are available to help you plan your schedule.As a dually admitted student to HCCC and NJCU, we enthusiastically welcome you to New Jersey City University, Campus Without Borders®. Though NJCU technically spans approximately 40 acres, the opportunities to learn know no bounds. We invite you to consider the entire metropolitan area (including the HCCC campus) as your campus. Take what you learn in the classroom and travel to area museums, concerts, lectures and sporting venues and more. You will discover experiences that go well beyond what you thought a university experience could be. So while we encourage you to travel the entire metropolitan area, we will give you an academic passport to document your travels. Keep it with you throughout your years at HCCC and NJCU. Ask that it be stamped at all the places and events you attend both on and off the NJCU and HCCC campuses. Or bring proof of attendance to designated offices on either campus for a stamp. If by the time of your NJCU graduation you have at least 100 stamps you will be eligible to wear a recognition cord with your cap and gown. Whether as part of a class assignment, an extra-curricular activity or as your own excursion, always think of Jersey City, Hudson County and New York City as part of your campuses.
