Dr. Gloria Boseman, a professor of nursing at New Jersey City University, was among 19 nurses honored at the 2012 “Diva & Don Gala” of the Institute for Nursing, the charitable affiliate of the New Jersey State Nurses Association, held on Wednesday, October 24. The “Diva & Don Gala” honors men and women in nursing leadership across New Jersey who set high standards of excellence and make a notable difference in many lives. A member of the NJCU faculty since 1978, Dr. Boseman holds a Ph.D. in nursing research from Rutgers, an M.S. from the University of Maryland, and a B.S.N. from Howard University. She has also completed postgraduate courses at Seton Hall University in Administration and Higher Education.
