DR. GABRIEL ALEGRIA LEADS THE NJCU BIG BAND TO THE BIG CITY FOR A BIG NIGHT!

On September 29th, the NJCU Big Band headed across the river to perform two sets at the renowned Zinc Bar in lower Manhattan! The Jazz Studies program is in full swing this semester under the direction of it's new coordinator, Dr. Gabriel Alegria

  • NJCU Voice Alum Melvinna Rose Johnson performs Das Rhinegold at NJPAC.
  • NJCU Earns Top 10 Ranking in Music Business from Billboard.

  • NJCU Chamber Singers (Dr. Robert Prowse, director) will perform at Carnegie Hall on June 19th along with choirs from across the United States.
  • NJCU student Al-Jabril Muhammad earns top honors at NJNATS Competition.
