NJCU to Offer 'Business Survival Skills: Making Successful Presentations' at Waterfront Site
New Jersey City University will offer “Business Survival Skills: Making Successful Presentations” on Saturdays, October 17 through November 21 at its off-campus site on the Jersey City waterfront.
Offered through NJCU’s Office of Continuing Education, the course will meet 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the site, located at Harborside Financial Center 4A, 286 Washington Street, second floor, in Jersey City. Registration is $600.00.
“Business Survival Skills: Making Successful Presentations” focuses on structuring presentations in a three-step format, public speaking and delivery techniques, and handling questions and difficult questioners. Students will be critiqued and evaluated, and will receive handouts and personal advice on communication.
Course instructor is Steve Schwartz of Steve Schwartz Communications in New York City.
The Harborside Financial Center is steps away from the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail, Exchange Place PATH station, buses, and ferries. A parking garage in the building offers special rates for students.
