Miller Analogies Test to Be Administered Once Monthly at NJCU
The Miller Analogies Test (MAT) will be offered at New Jersey City University, 2039 Kennedy Boulevard in Jersey City, on the first Tuesdays of February, March, April, and May.
A standardized test used primarily for graduate school admission in the United States, the MAT is a 60-minute test comprised of 120 questions.
The test will be administered at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, February 5, March 4, April 1, and May 6.
To register for the test, call the NJCU Office of Continuing Education at (201)200-3089 or use the online contact form under “Miller Analogies Test” at http://web.njcu.edu/dept/continuinged.
On test day, those who have registered must bring two sharpened number two pencils; two forms of identification, including one with a picture; and the $80.00 test fee, which may be paid by cash, check, money order, or credit card. Payment may only be made on the day of the test.
Those who have taken the MAT within the past year must bring a re-test admission ticket, a document attached to the previous test score report. Those requiring special accommodations must submit documentation to NJCU’s Office of Continuing Education prior to the test date.
Confirmations will be mailed the week before the scheduled exam and will include a map of the NJCU campus and directions for parking. Those who need to cancel must do so at least three business days in advance by contacting the Office of Continuing Education.
Those who take the test generally receive test scores within four to six weeks. The passing score for the MAT is determined by individual institutions.
