Thirteen NJCU Students Inducted in to National History Honor Society, Phi Alpha Theta
Thirteen New Jersey City University students were inducted into the Rho-Rho chapter of the national history honor society, Phi Alpha Theta, at a recent campus ceremony.
The NJCU students are Cristy L. Aponte of Jersey City , Kimberly A. Bates of Hightstown, William P. Burke of Paramus, Ashley R. Catrillo of Jersey City, Laura E. Costantino of Neptune City, Gladys M. Gonzalez of Farmingdale, Nicole Gray of Bayonne, Edward Henderson, Jr. of North Arlington, Elizabeth Lawson of Roosevelt, Danielle M. Mendillo of Middletown, Jessica Mora of Secaucus, Silvia Moya of West New York, and Joseph Pascarella of Red Bank.
Phi Alpha Theta is a professional society that promotes the study of history through the encouragement of research, good teaching, publication, and the exchange of learning and ideas among historians. The organization seeks to bring students, teachers, and writers of history together for intellectual and social exchanges, which promote and assist historical research and publication by members in a variety of ways.
