NJCU to Offer Preparation Course for N.J. Real Estate Licensing Exam on Monday and Wednesday Evenings
New Jersey City University will offer a preparation course for the New Jersey Real Estate Salesperson’s (Agent) Licensing Examination on Monday and Wednesday evenings this summer.
Offered through NJCU’s Office of Continuing Education, the course will meet 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays, June 1 through August 10, on the University campus at 2039 Kennedy Boulevard in Jersey City. There will be no class sessions on June 29 or July 1.
Approved by the New Jersey Real Estate Commission, the course is designed to provide the required educational experience for individuals planning to take the State of New Jersey Real Estate Salesperson’s (Agent) Licensing Examination and conforms with the Commission’s 75-hour course requirement.
Course topics will include principles of agency, real estate mathematics, and regulations required by the Real Estate Commission.
To be a real estate salesperson, one must be at least 18 years of age and have either a high school diploma or a graduate equivalency diploma. A background check is also required.
Course registration is $375.00, not including the textbook, Essentials of New Jersey Real Estate, which is available at NJCU’s bookstore.
