PROGRAM LEVEL ASSESSMENT AT NJCU

Program-level student learning assessment occurs when faculty examine student outcomes. This complex task should be stated in the form of an outcome, and continues with a plan to collect evidence of learning that will be analyzed in order to establish if the outcome was met. Evidence usually consist of samples of student work which will inform the process. The yearly assessment cycle is compose of five steps: Plan, Measure, Analyze, Feedback, Action. Program-level student learning assessment information is collected in Taskstream/Tk20 beginning in the Fall and ending in the Spring of each Academic Year. Each year, all academic programs assess at least one of their student learning outcomes.
