Connie Sensor was elected to the position of secretary to the Nursing Honor Society – Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) at the biennium convention in Grapevine, Texas in November 2011. She will serve on the International Board from 2011-13.
Connie is a 1981 graduate of the R.N.-B.S.N. Program in the NJCU Nursing Department, where she has occasionally served as an adjunct faculty member. She earned an M.S.N. from Kean University and is presently a Ph.D. candidate at Seton Hall University with a research focus on global health and the power of culturally responsive nursing. Her clinical background is in Critical Care, School Health and Transcultural Nursing. At present she works as a School Nurse in a large, culturally diverse public school in Union, N.J.
New Jersey City University, the Nursing Department, and Kappa Eta chapter of STTI are proud of Connie and her accomplishments.
