Join us to cerebrate the 1st NJAPT Conference!
In the morning, we will have the distinguished key note speakers Drs. Athena Drewes and Heidi Kaduson. The play therapy experts will share their journey that they took to establish their current approach and  their thoughts on different theoretical orientations and integrative play therapy. At the end of the morning session, you will have an opportunity to ask a question to the keynote speakers on play therapy approaches. So bring your own questions!

In the afternoon, we will have breakout sessions. The details of the sessions in the afternoon will be available from 06/30/2017. If you are interested in presenting at the breakout sessions, please go to  "Call for the Proposals" page.

Dr. Athena A. Drewes

Dr. Athena A. Drewes is a licensed child psychologist, certified school psychologist and RPT-S. She is Director of Clinical Training and APA-Accredited Doctoral Internship at Astor Services for Children and Families in New York. She has over 35 years of clinical experience in supervision and clinical work with sexually abused and traumatized children and adolescents in school, outpatient and inpatient settings. She is a former Board of Director of the Association for Play Therapy and Founder and President Emeritus of the New York Association for Play Therapy. She has written extensively on play therapy and is an invited guest lecturer all over the world.

Dr. Heidi Gerard Kaduson

Dr. Heidi Gerard Kaduson is a licensed clinical child psychologist. She specializes in the evaluation and intervention services for children with a variety of behavioral, emotional and learning problems. Dr. Kaduson uses play therapy for individual counseling, group psychotherapy, and social skills training. She has lectured throughout the world on Play Therapy, and is Past- President and a Member of the Board of Directors of the Association for Play Therapy, as well as Director of The Play Therapy Training Institute, Inc.  Dr. Kaduson is editor and author of many books and maintains a private practice in child psychotherapy in Monroe Township, New Jersey.

Please join us in celebrating our first annual conference for professionals who would like to expand their practice and knowledge in using play across different populations.

Refund Policy
The registration fee that you paid minus $20 for processing fee will be issued to those who cancelled by August 31th, 2017. Refund will not be issued if you cancel after August 31st. Please allow 4-6 weeks to receive refund.
