Carlos R. Morales, Ph.D.

Before coming to NJCU, Mr. Carlos R. Morales was assistant professor of Biology at EDP College in Puerto Rico. His specialization is in Biology as well as Environmental Microbiology. He holds a Ph.D. in Education with a concentration in Instructional Design for Online Learning from Capella University, a Masters Degree in Education with a concentration on Science Teaching and a B.S. in Biology with a concentration on Microbiology from Inter American University, of Puerto Rico. Dr. Morales has considerable teaching experience in both Sciences and Education areas. He taught as adjunct faculty in Colegio Tecnológico y Comercial de Puerto Rico, Seminole Community College and Universidad Metropolitana. Mr. Morales also holds professional certifications as On-Line Instructor from Walden Institute and as a Distance Learning Administration Professional from Texas A&M University.


Mr. Morales also acted as trainer in Puerto Rico, where his responsibilities included the design and development of training sessions for teachers and other school personnel in educational technology. His areas of interest include Science Teaching, Web-based Instruction, Distance Learning, Technology in Education and Instructional Design.

Currently he oversees the operations of the CITI where he also act as the Instructional Designer.
