General Education Assessment 

Assessment of General Education is overseen by the General Education Committee on Assessment and Policy (GECAP).  Assessment focuses on the six learning outcomes:

• Civic engagement and intercultural knowledge
• Critical thinking and problem solving
• Information and technology literacy
• Oral communication
• Quantitative literacy
• Written communication

In Fall 2019, the Program Assessment Coordinating Committee began supporting GECAP and general education.
