With over 43 undergraduate degree options, each year, NJCU accepts transfer students from two-year and other four-year institutions (with appropriate accreditations). We invite you to learn more about the many academic opportunities available to you at NJCU.
You are a Transfer applicant if you (1) graduated from high school or earned a GED diploma, and (2) have taken and earned 12 or more college level credits at an appropriately accredited post-secondary institution.
NJCU will evaluate your college transcript(s) to determine eligible transfer credits after an admissions decision has been made.
If you have earned fewer than 12 college credits, you are considered a Freshman applicant, and should follow the freshmen application requirements.
Review our Application Checklist to determine what materials you will need for you application. You may complete the admissions application online. Or, if you prefer to submit a paper application, you can download the application form and mail it to us.
Please also view our upcoming events and application dates.
Transfer international students should review specific international requirements to help prepare for the NJCU application process.
